Financial Planning

Our mission at Wealth Creation Planning is to help protect you & your family and help you grow for the future. We believe that using our experience to have real conversations around your world, we can have a positive impact on your life.

Protection – The Foundation

Firstly, like a well-built home we start with a strong foundation – your “In Case of Emergency” Plan. This means ensuring that if something where to happen to you or one of your family, you are still able to repay your debts, continue to maintain income, pay school fees or fund medical treatment.

How long could you survive financially if your income stopped tomorrow? We see all too often after an emergency occurs, that when the income stops, sick leave runs out and savings are depleted that the years of hard work you have put in building your families world can be jeopardised if the status quo can no longer be maintained.

Our health & that of our families are the most important things in our world. The goal of your Emergency Plan is to ensure that in event of unexpected sickness, accident, illness or death that they continue to be financially secure long term. Otherwise all that you have done do to build your wealth could be at risk for you & your loved ones.

Your “In Case of Emergency” Plan is not one size fits all. It has to be tailored to you, your family and your budget to make sure it is sustainable over the long term and to give you peace of mind. We work together now and as your world changes to get this right – you are in the driver’s seat of what is in your plan.

We work with a panel of Insurance providers to give you certainty on cost, levels, quality and types of cover. Most importantly we want you to have the utmost certainty in your cover should the unexpected occur.

Types of Cover Available

Life cover – also known as ‘term life insurance’ or ‘death cover’, pays a set amount of money when you die. The money will go to the people you nominate as beneficiaries on your policy.

Total and permanent disability (TPD) cover – pays a lump sum to assist with rehabilitation and living costs if you are totally and permanently disabled. TPD is often bundled with life cover.

Trauma cover – provides lump sum cover if you are diagnosed with a specified illness or injury. These policies include the major illnesses or injuries that will make a significant impact on your life, such as cancer, heart attack or a stroke.

Income protection – replaces the ongoing income lost through your inability to work due to injury or sickness.
